The Nonprofit Roundtable, presented by Nonprofit Jenni, is an educational event series. Social sector professionals are able to network with one another, discuss common challenges, share helpful resources, and find opportunities to collaborate.

Here’s how it works:

Moving forward, the Nonprofit Roundtable will be hosted biweekly through Facebook Live on our Facebook page. Each 45-minute event includes:

• A specific discussion topic relating to a current challenge in the social sector

• A guest expert who will kick off our discussion

• Live Q&A about the discussion topic where you can ask questions for our guest expert, other attendees, or even me to answer!

Bring Nonprofit Roundtable to Your Foundation, Association, or Other Group

Jenni developed the original Nonprofit Roundtable event series with the mission of breaking down barriers to collaboration across the social sector. We spent over a year testing the most effective components of networking events to develop the Nonprofit Roundtable’s intentional structure:

• Each event focuses on a specific challenge or trend relevant to the social sector.

• Prior to the event, attendees are sorted into small groups based on their professional role, organization size, and cause area or mission focus.

• At the beginning of the event, a guest expert leads a brief presentation to help all attendees reflect on the event topic.

• Next, attendees break into their assigned groups to learn from one another, share resources, and find opportunities to collaborate. Group discussions are each led by trained moderators.

• Everyone is given plenty of time after the program to network informally.
